I'm Ori Ben Dor, Composer and Sound Editor for movies, series and commercials.

In 2020 I completed my B.Mus In Israel - there I studied production, working with software, recording, editing and writing for a wide variety of musical instruments.
After graduating and aiming to become a "one-man show" I turned to mix-mastering studies where I studied the art of sound.

Since then, I have designed sound for short films, features and commercials.
My artistic vision is based on the great power of sound and music. A great power that must be used wisely and tastefully.

 

No matter what we see on the screen - the soundtrack is what will dictate the emotion we convey. We can turn a video clip from a vacation in the Caribbean into a creepy horror movie and at the same time - turn a scene inside an abandoned house into a comedy. And as a wise man taught us: with great power comes great responsibility.

Yes, I have always been told that I am very responsible.

My musical style is characterized by a combination of classical and electronic music. The old world in a new and intriguing way.

However, the experience I gained in all the different productions (movies, media videos, animation, commercials, etc.) opened me up to a large variety of styles and composing techniques.
